Internships & Residencies
General Hospital offers internships and residencies in all clinical specialties, in conjuction with the State University School of Medicine.
Grand Rounds
The Hospital's Grand Rounds schedule includes all clinical departments.
Continuing Medical Education
General Hospital is approved:
- by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians,
- by the American College of Healthcare Executives to award pre-approved Category II credit toward advancement, recertification, or reappointment for health care executives,
- by the National Commision for Health Care Education Credentialing, Inc., to provide continuing education contact hours in health education for certified health educators,
- by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation to provide continuing education to nurses.
